At over 90 m², Studio 1 offers plenty of space for larger productions. The large recording room (Live 1) with adjacent drum room and vocal booth enables both acoustic separation and performing together in a shared space. Amps and cabinets can also be set up in separate spaces.

The large 30 m² control room (Control 1) was designed according to international standards to guarantee a world class listening and mixing experience.

STUDIO 2

35 sqm

Studio 2, with more than 30 m², is perfect for smaller productions and recording of spoken word, solo artists and duos. Open to the daylight, Studio 2 creates a comfortable atmosphere for longer mixing and producing sessions.

The control room (Control 2) is also the central hub for all video signals and offers full video editing capabilities for live streaming and video productions.

Thanks to an intelligent combination of Dante, IP and analog cabling, both studios can be linked together as a large, shared studio environment.

VIDEO CONTROL ROOM

The Vienna City Sound studio features a modern Blackmagic Design video infrastructure capable of producing professional live streams with up to 8 cameras in 4K. Video and sound are recorded in the large recording room (Live 1), the live sound is mixed in Control 1 and the feeds are merged as a live stream in the control and editing station. We also produce high-quality live music videos with a cinematic style as well as our own live show, where artists and bands present their newest songs.
